It has been a journey for me. During my first three years of teaching, my students often dared to use online translators to complete their work. With over 120 students at the time, it often brought me to tears because I spent so much time creating assessments & grading. What was I to do? I felt defeated time after time during my first three years of teaching with each occurrence.
Ever been there? Well, that was then, I want to share with you my NOW. I no longer go through this, in fact, the use of online translators rarely happens anymore in my classes. I was sharing these experiences with my friend Claudia Elliott and we both had so many thoughts in common when it came to our teaching journey and what we have experienced with the use of online translators by students.
